Three New Ales for Celebrate Richmond 950

One Unique Image Created for the Labels

Richmond Brewing Company has created three new ales to celebrate Richmond Castle’s 950th birthday and internationally known artist, Mackenzie Thorpe, has produced a unique image for the labels for these commemorative brews. Forever Richmond is exclusively on view at Arthaus in Finkle Street, Richmond.

View Mackenzie’s brochure about the artwork.

Richmond Brewing Company’s three new ales are:

Red Rufus Ruby Ale

Based on a Yorkshire Amber Ale recipe using amber and brown malts to provide a rich colour and caramel flavour.

Home Front Mild Ale

Based on a Yorkshire mild ale recipe to produce a florally hopped light bodied beer with lingering malt character.

1071 IPA

Based on a Yorkshire recipe using pale malts and UK hops, resulting in a complex hop aroma, a deep lasting bitterness and brewed to achieve a smooth and solid mouthfeel.

Drink to this 950th anniversary with distinctive, celebratory beers from Richmond Brewing Company- Home Front Mild Ale, Red Rufus Ruby Ale and 1071 IPA.

Sit back and enjoy Forever Richmond Mackenzie Thorpe’s creation for Celebrate Richmond 950. “Richmond will always hold so many wonderful memories. It has, and continues to be, a constant source of inspiration.” Mackenzie Thorpe, 2021.

The three new ales are on sale at local outlets, pubs and the brewery’s tap room at The Station.
